American Bar Foundation Elects Nelson Mullins’ Sarah Eibling to the Fellowship

COLUMBIA, SC – The American Bar Foundation has elected Sarah T. Eibling, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Columbia office, to the Fellowship. Membership in the Fellows is limited to 1 percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction.

Eibling practices in the areas of product liability, premises liability, lodging and leisure, and litigation. She serves as national product liability counsel for a manufacturer of home appliances and also defends product liability cases involving consumer goods, heavy construction equipment, trucks and automobiles, and commercial steel equipment. Eibling has also been involved in cases for the hospitality industry, including active shootings, workplace violence cases, violent crime, and premises liability cases in Georgia, Nevada, Missouri, and South Carolina.

Eibling also serves on the steering committee for the Hospitality Practice Group of ALFA International and on the Products Liability Committee for both DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar and the International Association of Defense Counsel. She is active in her community as a mock trial volunteer coach for middle school and high school competitions, and she is a volunteer coach and manager for a variety of youth sports.

The Fellows is a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities, according to the organization. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.
