Boudreaux Group receives AIASC Design Merit Award

Columbia, SC, May 19, 2016 – The Boudreaux Group, a Columbia, SC based Architecture firm received the American Institute of Architects, South Carolina Chapter (AIASC) Design Merit Award for the Richland County Recreation Commission’s Gadsden Community Center.

The AIASC has a long standing tradition of recognizing organizations and projects that demonstrate the value AIA architects provide to the communities they serve. When recognizing Gadsden Community Center, the jury panel noted that “this project has a challenging site and program; yet still creates an appropriate civic response despite its challenges. We also appreciated the use of sustainable strategies to inform the design and to create a civic expression despite its utilitarian function.” The Boudreaux Group’s mission for cultivating relationships, designing inspiring places and enhancing communities is the driving force behind every project and is honored to have received such recognition from the AIASC.
