COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA – Callison Tighe & Robinson, LLC is listed as a top-tier firm in the just-released 2018 edition of Best Law Firms in America in two practice areas in real estate law.

This marks the eighth consecutive year Callison Tighe has earned Tier 1 rankings for the Columbia metropolitan area. In this newest edition, the firm received the designation in two practice areas: Litigation – Real Estate and Real Estate Law.

Callison Tighe was also honored for its attorneys’ work in trusts and estates litigation, trusts and estates law and bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency.

Callison Tighe has been highlighted in every edition of Best Law Firms in America since the publication’s inception in 2010.

“It is always an honor to be included in a highly regarded publication such as Best Law Firms,” managing member Michael W. Tighe said. “It is a testimonial to the skills of our attorneys in these practice areas as well as to our reputation among peers.”

To be eligible for Best Law Firms, a firm must have at least one attorney rated highly in Best Lawyers in America. Ten Callison Tighe attorneys – Tighe, Edward D. “Butch” Barnhill, Wm. Bert Brannon, Sherwood M. “Woody” Cleveland, Andrew C. English, III, Richard C. Detwiler, Demetri “Jim” Koutrakos, Louis H. Lang, Ralph C. Robinson Jr. and D. Reece Williams III – are included in the 2018 edition.

Final inclusion in Best Law Firms in America is based on questionnaires sent to lawyers in the same practice area in the same metropolitan area. That data, along with client input, are analyzed to determine final rankings. Best Law Firms rankings are drawn from that same data.
