McCormick to receive power from Florida-based utility
Florida-based NTE Energy will begin a 20-year purchase agreement with the town of McCormick on Jan. 1. The McCormick Commission of Public Works was previously served by SCE&G, according to NTE Energy.

Dominion Privatization of South Carolina LLC has been awarded a $142M, 50-year contract to operate the electric utility system at Fort Jackson. The company will assume operation of the electric system in April 2019.

SCANA declares quarterly dividend
SCANA Corp. declared a quarterly dividend of 12.37 cents per share for the third quarter of 2018 at a meeting of its board of directors.
