DJJ Staff Plan Life After Retirement

Most people don't think about retirement until it's too late. Others succumb to the idea they'll never retire. For DJJ employees, it's never too early to plan out life after work.

Today, DJJ staff attended a retirement benefits seminar, refreshing them on the resources and opportunities afforded to them by being a state employee. South Carolina health and retirement benefits are big perks to working at the Department of Juvenile Justice. It's a career that provides long-term peace of mind, and it starts with being educated on those retirement options.

DJJ is hosting a job fair next Wednesday, May 31, at the CCC Building inside the Broad River Road Complex. It will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The agency is looking to fill Dietary and Juvenile Correctional Officer positions.
