Marketing association announces statewide award winners

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators recognized businesses from across the state for communications excellence at its 2016 Palmetto Awards ceremony held Nov. 4 in Columbia.

The Palmetto Awards recognize demonstrated excellence in communication strategy, planning and execution. Entries were evaluated independently by IABC judges from chapters in Arkansas, Atlanta, Dallas, Edmonton, Nashville, Newfoundland and Labrador, Omaha, Oregon, Regina and St. Louis. The South Carolina chapter presented 23 Awards of Excellence and 17 Awards of Merit during the ceremony at Nexsen Pruet. Flock and Rally took home the Star of the Show award for its Famously Hot New Year marketing communications as the single highest-scoring entry in the competition.
