Colonial Life desired an upgrade to their 12,900-square-foot existing conference rooms in order to modernize finishes, lighting, IT and AV.
The work was completed in the occupied portion of Colonial Life’s call center and conference area and was phased to accommodate Owner’s need to use adjacent spaces.
This upfit was completed within the predetermined schedule constraints with zero laydown space at the existing building.
Material deliveries were coordinated with the Client to accommodate the limited usage of the loading dock due to the company’s requirement to continue receiving daily deliveries.
Mashburn worked with the Owner to meet their request to recycle carpet, ceiling tiles, and metal. Recycled materials were staged during demolition, palletized, and coordinated with vendors for pick up.
Steel beams were brought into the building and lifted through the atrium to the fourth floor to support the Skyfold doors that separate the conference rooms.
Work in the Atrium area on existing storefronts was completed by an installer via swing lifts.
