Nickelodeon to Screen New Documentary on America’s MIAs on Veterans Day

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Columbia's Jack van Loan Chapter 303, is proud to host this event at 6pm on our observed Veterans Day, November 12 at the Nickelodeon Theater in downtown Columbia.

We are sponsoring this one hour screening to help spread the word about America's MIAs, missing in action service members from all wars. The film is intended to raise awareness of the issues related to repatriation and the impact on families.

This is a particularly timely event given the recent return of remains from North Korea and continuing efforts by all those concerned.

There will be a post film discussion about the making of the film with the filmmaker Richard Jellerson from Los Angeles, representatives of the League of POW/MIA Families and others.

In attendance will be members of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Col. Jack van Loan (a former POW and resident of the Hanoi Hilton with John McCain) along with the DCO and others from Fort Jackson.
