Pop-up Tour In Store For Artist-in-residence

Listen to the Sounds of Wendell Culbreath at Richland Library

Columbia, SC- Using only a guitar and his words, Richland Library's latest artist-in-residence is sharing a distinct sound with the community, and now, local residents have a chance to listen to Wendell Culbreath in person as he announces a Pop-Up Tour.

Culbreath is traveling to several of our locations. You can catch him during the following, scheduled performances:

Culbreath, a Washington, DC-born and South Carolina-based artist, provides weekly song-writing workshops for adults as well as music-related programming for all ages. For a complete list, click here.

He also has a studio on the Second Level at our Main location (1431 Assembly Street) to express his creativity and speak with aspiring musicians. For a look at his office hours, be sure to visit richlandlibrary.com.

Initially developed in September 2016, the concept behind the artist-in-residence is to connect the community with local, working artists and to provide creative and educational opportunities to local residents in a way that supports cultural and artistic exchange.

Culbreath, who started in September, is serving as artist-in-residence through December 2017.
