AIKEN, S.C. (December 13, 2018) – Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the liquid waste contractor at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Savannah River Site, is accepting applications for its 2019 summer internship program.
The 2019 SRR summer internship program will offer college students an opportunity to complete hands-on work with the company, narrowing the gap between the classroom setting and professional world. Each summer, SRR hires a diverse group of students pursuing degrees in programs like engineering, business, information technology, emergency management, accounting, and statistics, to name a few. All majors and disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Internship applications are open now and will close on February 15, 2019. Additional positions may be added each week. The internships will begin in mid-May and will conclude in early August.
To qualify for a summer internship with SRR, the student must be U.S. citizen, enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, and have a current GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applicants are encouraged to upload their resume as early as possible.
To apply, visit www.aecom.com/careers, then enter “Aiken, SC” in the search bar. A list of Student Summer Intern positions will be displayed and available to review. To apply for a position, students will be prompted to create a user name and a password and to create a profile by answering some questions.
