The South Carolina Business & Industry Political Education Committee (SC BIPEC) will host its 32nd Annual Meeting at the Marriott Hotel (1200 Hampton Street, Columbia) on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 3:00-5:30 PM. This year’s meeting provides a substantive series of discussions and debates on the issues that will have an impact on South Carolina’s citizens for the upcoming legislative session and for many years to come. The agenda includes an address from Governor Henry McMaster. Pension Reform brings together an expert panel discussing South Carolina’s current government pension crisis and the future of the system. Legislative Leadership will feature President Pro Tempore Leatherman and Speaker Lucas discussing the issues facing the Legislature this year and the items on their agendas. Filling out the event will be a panel of the 2018 gubernatorial challengers.
