COLUMBIA, SC- Benedict College is hosting a FREE viewing of the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017 at the Charlie W. Johnson Stadium from 11- 3 p.m. Most of the United State will only see a partial eclipse, but Columbia South Carolina, falls directly within the eclipse’s region of totality. *Benedict’s spacious Charlie W. Johnson Stadium offers the perfect place to view this rare sighting while enjoying the solar games for kids of all ages, live music, concessions with family and friends. FREE solar eclipse glasses are available for the first 6,000 guests.

What: Benedict College Total Solar Eclipse Experience: Featuring the Solar Games --A Total Eclipse Viewing event to include educational seminars, food, drinks, snacks, solar games for the kids of all ages and a performance by the Benedict College Marching Band of Distinction.
