Thousands of Toys Collected During this Year’s SRS Toys for Tots Campaign

Aiken, S.C. (Dec. 5, 2017) – Every year in early December, Savannah River Site (SRS) workers from all walks of life come together with the shared goal of loading thousands of toys and bikes donated by SRS employees into several large trucks. The entire event is part of the SRS Toys for Tots campaign to create a joyful Christmas for area residents in need.

Date/Location: Thursday, Dec. 7, Savannah River Site Visitor Center (Badge Office)
· Call and notify DT Townsend, 803-952-9576, or Caroline Reppert, 803-952-8367, by noon, tomorrow, Dec. 6, to apply for a visitor’s badge.
· Arrive at the SRS badge/visitor’s center not later than noon (see directions and maps below).
· Two valid forms of ID are required (see attached file).

Time: Arrive by noon at SRS visitor's center for badging and safety instruction
· Transportation to the event will be provided.

Getting to SRS
Access to SRS is restricted to badged personnel only. In most cases, a visit to SRS or SRNL starts at the SRS Badge Office - located in Building 703-46A (just off of SRS Road 1).
