100 Women Who Care Midlands SC Donates $5,750.00 to Candyman Homeless Outreach

(Columbia, SC) - 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC at their 4th quarter meeting elected to support the Candyman Homeless Outreach with a donation of $5,750.00. Members of 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC presented their checks directly to Bubba Cromer, founder of Candyman Homeless Outreach. Cromer and his dog Casper started their ministry in 2017 and they provide clothing, toiletries, and other necessities to homeless men, women and children.

With over 60 current members, 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC formed a chapter in the Midlands at the beginning of the year and looks forward to growing their membership to 100 or more members. 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC meets once quarterly for one hour and gives all donated monies to local non-profits in the Midlands of SC. Our members come from all walks of life and varying financial backgrounds with a simple desire to make an immediate, direct, and positive impact in our communities.

Members commit to giving one hour of their time each quarter to learn about local non-profits that are nominated by each member. Each member then agrees to support, financially, the local non-profit selected among those nominated and voted on, writing their checks directly to the selected non-profit each quarter. The combined giving of each members contribution makes a powerful impact locally. During their first year, the Midlands Chapter has donated $16,650.00 to four local charities – Serve and Connect, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center, and Candyman Homeless Outreach.

100 Women Who Care Midlands SC invites women in the Midlands to become 1 of 100.
