Columbia, SC – The South Carolina Business Hall of Fame, in partnership with Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina, is proud to induct three new Laureates on Thursday, March 10th, 2022:
· The late Mr. Norman Arnold – former businessman and real estate developer of Columbia
· Mr. George Greene, III – Founder and former CEO of General Engineering Laboratories; CEO of Water Mission of Charleston
· Mr. Jack McBride – CEO, Contec, Inc. of Spartanburg
These giants of industry have made a positive mark on South Carolina and have demonstrated the core values of integrity, leadership, respect and excellence in their lives as role models for youth and civic achievements.
Tyler Hudson, chair of the South Carolina Business Hall of Fame, said, “Our South Carolina Business Hall of Fame laureates represent not only the best and the brightest, but the most generous in our business community,” said Tyler. “Although it’s been a tough 18 months, we are very much looking forward to hosting an in-person event in March to celebrate and honor their achievements.”
Established in 1985 by Junior Achievement, the South Carolina Business Hall of Fame honors business leaders who have left their mark on our state by exhibiting and personifying four core values: integrity, leadership, respect and excellence/history of civic achievement. This black-tie induction and award ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 10th at 7pm at the Pastides Alumni Center at USC in Columbia.
