The American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina (ACEC-SC) will host an annual meeting and trade show in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
This year’s meeting agenda features networking opportunities and professional development sessions as well as keynotes. The day kicks off with a welcome from ACEC-SC and SCDOT leadership and opening remarks from the state division administrator for the Federal Highway Administration. Secretary of Transportation Christy Hall, chief executive of SCDOT, will present the morning keynote. Hall will also be honored with a Service to the Profession award at the annual meeting lunch.
Special guest Jack Uldrich, a futurist, speaker, and author, will give the lunch keynote speech.
Other agenda highlights include a roundtable discussion on workforce development and a robust lineup of breakout sessions with topics ranging from vehicle electrification to IIJA grants to recent engineering projects within the state.
