Columbia, SC – On Sunday, December 9th, AllSouth Federal Credit Union donated a record number of gifts to the 2018 Vet’s Christmas Charity Ride. With designated drop off locations at AllSouth’s 23 branch locations, AllSouth employees and members donated over 5,100 gift items such as blankets, clothing, and toiletries plus over $650 in cash. Patients at the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center and VA sponsored homeless shelters will benefit from the donated items.
AllSouth would like to recognize their Risk Management, Accounting, and ATM departments, which donated over 1,500 items and the Member Answer Center, which donated over 1,100 items. Thanks to the generosity of AllSouth’s employees and members, there were enough donated items for every vet at the Dorn VA hospital this year to receive a gift. These contributions will make the Holidays brighter for our Veterans.
