Baker Appointed to City of Columbia BPAC

William BakerWilliam Baker, an Immigration Paralegal with the Law Offices of Lawrence J. Needle, P.A., was recently appointed by City Council to the Bike Pedestrian Advisory Committee.

BPAC’s objectives are to advise the City of Columbia Transportation Planning team, City Council Members, the Mayor and community organizations and partners on bicycling and pedestrian issues facing the city and to work toward the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan: Walk Bike Columbia and any subsequently adopted bicycle and pedestrian plans or policies, and to represent community and constituent interests in transportation planning decisions faced by City Council. Baker attended College of Charleston and is currently a student at Cornell University’s Industrial Labor and Relations School where he is studying Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace.
