Receives Top Rankings in 2019 U.S. News – Best Lawyers® ‘Best Law Firms’ List
Columbia, SC (December 18, 2018) – Beal, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys to its team. Joining the firm are Tara E. Nauful, Adam J. Floyd, and Keely M. McCoy who bring decades of experience in commercial restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency related litigation to the practice. The firm also has received Tier 1 national rankings in bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law and for litigation in bankruptcy from U.S. News – Best Lawyers® in its 2019 “Best Law Firms” list.
Tara E. Nauful, Of Counsel, comes to the firm following a two-year clerkship with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina. Prior to her clerkship, Tara was in private practice for 23 years, representing financial institutions and other lenders. She also has served as a state court receiver and counsel for a Chapter 11 trustee.
Adam J. Floyd, Special Counsel, represents distressed businesses and individuals in out of court and bankruptcy court restructurings and liquidations. He has substantial experience with complex bankruptcy litigation, particularly litigating fraudulent conveyance, preference, and other causes of action on behalf of Chapter 7 trustees.
Prior to joining Beal, LLC, Keely M. McCoy, Special Counsel, served as general counsel for a South Carolina manufacturing company. Her experience includes negotiating and drafting contracts and buy-sell agreements, corporate restructurings, legal compliance, general human resources support, and litigation.

In addition, attorneys at Beal, LLC have substantial experience representing creditors’ committees, bankruptcy trustees, secured lenders, landlords, and asset purchasers in bankruptcy cases, as well as federal and state court receivers.
