The rapid growth at Ben Lippen School is leading to its expansion into the Northeast side of Columbia.
On Aug. 11, 2021, Ben Lippen will begin classes for grades Pre-K4 through second grade at Sandhills Community Church located at 3513 Hardscrabble Road. A three-year plan includes expanding to serve students through the fourth grade.
For the 2021-22 school year, approximately 60 students will be accepted for the new campus with the plan of expanding to accept approximately 100 students over the next three years. Open enrollment will begin on March 1.
Currently, Ben Lippen School offers lower school, middle school and high school classes on the campus of Columbia International University on Monticello Road, and lower school classes at its St. Andrews Road location in Northwest Columbia.
Ben Lippen Headmaster Tony Fajardo says the school’s desire is to glorify God.
“All three of our lower school campuses will continue to offer a rigorous academic program anchored in a foundation of solid biblical truth,” Fajardo said. “Our purpose is to help students develop faith in Jesus Christ through academics, co-curricular activities, leadership development, and personal relationships. We will continue to accomplish these critical components through committed faculty and staff who love Christ, love students, and love to teach a biblically-permeated curriculum.”
Enrollment this school year at Ben Lippen grew by 99 more students over last year for a total of 929 students. For information on enrollment call (803) 807-4000 or visit www.benlippen.com.
Ben Lippen School is an accredited Christian, college preparatory school of over 900 students in grades Pre-K3 through 12, and is a ministry of Columbia International University.
