Ben Lippen School is expanding to Northeast Columbia.

Approximately 60 students will be accepted into classes for pre-K4 through second grade for the 2021-22 school year, according to a news release. Classes will begin Aug. 11 at Sandhills Community Church at 3513 Hardscrabble Road, and open enrollment will begin March 1.

“All three of our lower school campuses will continue to offer a rigorous academic program anchored in a foundation of solid biblical truth,” Ben Lippen headmaster Tony Fajardo said in the release. “Our purpose is to help students develop faith in Jesus Christ through academics, co-curricular activities, leadership development, and personal relationships. We will continue to accomplish these critical components through committed faculty and staff who love Christ, love students, and love to teach a biblically-permeated curriculum.”

Ben Lippen, an accredited Christian, college preparatory school and a ministry of Columbia International University, offers lower school, middle school and high school classes on the CIU campus on Monticello Road and lower school classes at its St. Andrews Road location.

This year, enrollment at Ben Lippen grew by 99 students, bringing total enrollment to 929, according to the release.
