Benedict College President Receives National Award as HBCU Female President of the Year

Columbia, SC –July 2, 2018 Benedict College President, Dr. Roslyn Clark Artis, was named Female President of the Year by HBCU Digest. The winners were announced at the ceremony on Friday, June 22, 2018 in Baltimore, Maryland before an audience comprised of scholars representing HBCUs from across the country. Several members of the Benedict Family attended the Gala and expressed their excitement about the event.

"It was an honor and a privilege to attend the HBCU Digest Awards Ceremony to witness the remarkable achievement of Dr. Artis being the recipient of the Female President of the Year award.
