Columbia, SC (12/4/19) – CAMS (Community Association Management Solutions), an industry leader in Community and Condominium Association Management Services throughout North and South Carolina, is pleased to announce that David Orr has been selected to fill the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Community Management. CAMS conducted a lengthy and thorough search across the country in order to find someone who aligned closely with their business values and who had the energetic personality needed to meet and exceed their customers’ expectations. David Orr, with his years of experience and success in the community association management industry, fit the bill perfectly. He will provide support to all of the CAMS regions and lead business development efforts.
Prior to joining CAMS, David was responsible for supervising the daily operations of a large community association management company’s three branch offices, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President. David’s responsibilities as president included managing and mentoring seven direct reports that manage teams of managers with communities ranging in size from 6 homes to 8,740 homes and overseeing the financial success of the management services for all three offices that handled over 400 communities with over 180 employees.
David was also the former Senior Vice President overseeing a large community association management company’s Lifestyle Division. In this role, he managed and helped strengthen new and existing relationships between the company and its client base within active adult and large-scale communities. David’s responsibilities included managing the overall division’s day to day operations, business development, training, and progress of company-related sales and marketing within the Lifestyle Division.
Before David entered the community association management industry, he spent time in sales and marketing for various large home building companies. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, skiing and spending time with his wife and children.
