Carolina Women’s Physical Therapy—the Midland’s only physical therapy practice created exclusively for women—expands services at its new Forest Acres location

Celebrating its fifth anniversary as Columbia’s first and only physical therapy practice exclusively devoted to women, Carolina Women's Physical Therapy and Wellness (CWPTW) announces its new and expanded location at 1735 St. Julian Place, Suite 101.

“After five years of offering physical therapy focused on women’s pain management, we began to experience some wonderful growing pains of our own,” said Dr. Dawn Chambers. “Not only has our patient count dramatically increased, our service line has too. Along with accommodating our existing pain management therapies, our new and expanded location will also allow us the opportunity to offer prenatal and neuromuscular massage services.”

Since 2013, CWPTW has gained a solid reputation for offering private, one-on-one physical therapy that allows women to concentrate on one thing—getting better. Dr. Chambers said that her patients have benefited from the women’s only setting, particularly by focusing on such popular treatment programs for incontinence, pelvic pain and the Mommy Rehab program that addresses pain management for new and expectant mothers.

To celebrate the grand opening of its new Forest Acres location, CWPTW invites new and existing patients to take advantage of an introductory $50 rate for a 60-minute massage. For more information on women’s pain management therapies, call 803-386-8610 or visit
