Carroll Daniel Construction Welcomes Senior Business Developer, Chris Berryman, to the Team

Carroll Daniel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Chris Berryman has joined its team as a Senior Business Developer.

As Senior Business Developer, Berryman’s role at Carroll Daniel will focus on broadening the reach and deepening the level of services the company provides to clients in the Automotive Mobility Technologies (EV), Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial market sectors. He will be representing Carroll Daniel in the U.S. Mid-South Region and will play a pivotal role in the sustainable growth of the business, diversifying the company’s portfolio, and accommodating the construction needs the region is experiencing due to economic growth.

Chris comes to Carroll Daniel after nearly 20 years working in Economic Development for Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), where he served its seven-state region, which encompassed Tennessee and portions of the surrounding states. Chris’ focus at TVA was to recruit new automotive OEM and supplier investments. Chris’ prior experience involved working with several non-governmental organizations, chambers of commerce, and state departments within Tennessee advising and providing public policy recommendations for land-use planning, with an emphasis on sustainability, for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Chris is a member of various state economic development councils and automotive manufacturing associations. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in biology and the other in natural resource management, as well as a master’s degree in environmental policy and economics. He is also a graduate of the National Development Council, earning certification as an economic development finance professional.
