Free flu shots offered throughout October
Palmetto Health is providing free flu shots at various locations in Richland, Lexington and Sumter counties. The shots are available on a first-come, first-served basis to ages 6 months and older.
New senior living facility planned for Lexington
Lakeside Place, a 66-unit, 80-bed assisted living and memory care facility, is expected to open this fall at U.S. 378 and Wise Ferry Road. The facility is being financed through the South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority.
S.C. Health Co. becomes Prisma Health
After partnering in November of last year, Greenville Health System and Palmetto Health used the interim name of S.C. Health Co. That name will change to Prisma Health starting in 2019.
