CDI construction firm announces New Leadership

Construction Dynamics, Inc. (CDI) is pleased to announce that Nathaniel Spells, Jr. has been promoted to Vice President of Operations and David Myers, PE has been promoted to Vice President of Construction Services, effective February 1, 2022.

Most recently, Spells, Jr. was Pre-Construction Manager and responsible for business development and marketing. He has been with the firm for 21 years. His new role will expand to include managing day-to-day office operations, estimating, and finance oversight. Projects that Spells, Jr. has worked on include Brookland Baptist Church Campus, USC Long’s Football Operation Building, Close Hipp Renovations at USC, Richland County Library Renovations, Douthit Hills, Clemson University’s IPTAY Building expansion and Memorial Stadium renovations, Segra Ballpark at Bull Street and many others.

David Myers, PE, came to CDI as a college intern and has been with the company for more than 15 years. He is a Clemson University graduate with a BS in Civil Engineering. Prior to his promotion, he was Director of Operations. In his new role as VP of Construction Services, he will be responsible for managing construction services and the construction staff. Myers’ successful projects include Brookland Baptist Church Campus, USC Long’s Football Operation Building, Close Hipp Renovations at the University of SC, Richland County Library Renovations, Douthit Hills, Clemson University’s IPTAY Building expansion and Memorial Stadium renovations, Segra Ballpark at Bull Street, 1st First Northeast Baptist Church, 2nd Nazareth Baptist Church, OC Tech Nursing Program Building and others. In 2020, Myers was named to Columbia Business Monthly’s Best & Brightest 35 and Under list.
