CF Evans construction announces leadership transition

Orangeburg, SC – CF Evans Construction today announced the promotion of David Summers as its President, succeeding Johnny Evans who will remain on as Executive Chairman.

“David joined CF Evans in 2002 and has progressed from working in the field to overseeing the company-wide delivery of our construction services. He has proven himself a respected and invaluable leader, possessing a natural talent for building people and teams and a passion for cultivating relationships with our many partners,” Evans said. “He possesses deep industry experience and sets the standard for client service and results, embodying the core values that have defined this Company for more than seventy years. Johnny, son of founder Clarence Felder Evans, has worked at CF Evans Construction for 43 years, leading the company as CEO since 1986.
