CF Evans Named Multifamily Builder Of The Year

National Association of Home Builders - Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Award

Orangeburg, SC: CF Evans was named the 2017 Multifamily Builder of the Year at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Awards at the International Builders Show in Orlando, FL. This award recognizes builders and general contractors that construct high quality multifamily developments. Candidates were judged on the quality of their development(s), their reputation, and their history of completing projects on time and on/under budget.

John Barr, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and Janet Bates, Director of Marketing, accepted the award on behalf of the company. In accepting the award, Barr commented, “It’s a real blessing to work for a 3rd generation family owned company that gives us the opportunity to go to work every day with our partners: developers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.”

“It is such an honor to be part of a company whose purpose is to create communities and whose employees live that every day,” said Bates. “Thank you for this recognition.”

The Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Awards, sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders, are designed to acknowledge and honor innovation in design and development, market-leading management and marketing strategies for both apartment communities and condominiums. The Pillars awards are held in high esteem by top-level multifamily development companies, management firms and experts in the field. The annual competition is judged by a jury of knowledgeable peers, each having a proven record of success in various facets of the multifamily industry.
