City of Columbia Climate Protection Action Committee Hosts “Energy 101: Keeping the Lights On” Virtual Workshop on Thursday Evening

Are you having trouble paying your electricity bills? Is there anything you can do to reduce those bills and/or get assistance to pay them? The City of Columbia’s Climate Protection Action Campaign (CPAC) will be exploring these topics and more during a virtual webinar on Thursday, March 18 at 6 p.m.

The webinar, titled “Energy 101: Keeping the Lights On,” will feature experts from:

• SC Energy Office
• SC Office of Regulatory Staff
• Dominion Energy SC
• South Carolina Association of Community Action Partnerships
• Wateree Community Actions. Inc.

These experts will discuss as well as ways to save money through energy efficiency and weatherization. Other topics include:
• Bill Assistance
• Energy Efficiency
• Home Weatherization
• Energy Saver Web Tool
• Energy Customer Rights
