COLUMBIA, S.C. – Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE hereafter) is pleased to announce that Sparkloft Media has been named the airport’s advertising agency of record.
Sparkloft Media, in partnership with Columbia-based Period Three, will assist the CAE team with fully re-designing the airport website, creating a comprehensive and cohesive brand, re-designing and refreshing the airport logo, and providing creative elements for digital, print and television advertising.
“Our team is excited about working with Sparkloft Media,” said Kim Jamieson, CAE Director of Marketing and Air Service Development. “With all the good things happening at CAE like the increased passenger traffic, additional nonstop service to New York, and new nonstop service to Miami, the timing is perfect to refresh with a new look and feel.”
“Sparkloft Media is thrilled to be the agency of record for Columbia Metropolitan Airport,” said Mandi Cox, Account Director, Sparkloft Media. “Our team has deep roots in this city and we are excited to be a part of the progress and new energy in Columbia, as we define the CAE brand and launch a new website with our partners at Period Three. Our extensive knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, combined with our passion and collective knowledge of the destination, is what makes this the dream team.”
Nineteen agencies across the United States responded to the Request for Proposals (RFP) issued in February of this year. After an extensive review of the submissions, in-person presentations and interviews with the top five selected agencies, Sparkloft Media was selected because of their impressive creativity and strategic thinking and knowledge and love of the Columbia region, as well as their experience in working with the aviation industry.
