Columbia, SC, January 30, 2020 — Thomas & Hutton is pleased to announce Ms. Ellen Chassereau as our newest Professional Engineer in South Carolina. The eight-hour civil examination consists of areas such as construction, geotechnical, structural, transportation, water resources, and environmental.
Ellen joined Columbia’s Thomas & Hutton office in January 2016 as a Designer in our Environmental Department and has four years of experience in the field. She received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University. Ellen’s responsibilities include water resources work specific to design of water and wastewater systems. She has been involved in many aspects of project development including identification of scope of work, cost estimating, scheduling, design, permitting and construction administration/observation. Notable projects in which she has been involved include Camp Hall Regional Water and Sewer in Berkeley County, SC, Hard Scrabble Road Utility Relocations in Columbia, SC, and Aging Main Water and Sewer Rehabilitation in Clinton, SC.
