APRIL 28, 2018 (COLUMBIA, S.C.): Thursday, May 10, 5:30-8:00 p.m., Columbia Opportunity Resource members and friends will gather with leaders in the economic development field to dine and discuss Developing the Midlands.
Developing the Midlands is part of COR’s ongoing Table for Six program, a unique networking event that connects experienced executives to emerging leaders in the community. Anything but stuffy, Table for Six takes place over dinner to facilitate open and free conversation, Q&A and relationship building.
Table hosts for this evening will be Ronnie Summers, CEO of the Palmetto AgriBusiness
Council; Brad Shank, Executive Vice President of the Columbia Fireflies; Tom Ledbetter,
Associate Vice President, Center for Entrepreneurial Success at Midlands Technical College; Ryan Coleman, Director of Economic Development for the City of Columbia: Matt Kennell, President and CEO of City Center Partnership; and Beronica Whisnant, Director of Real Estate of the Bull Street Project at Hughes Development.
“Table for Six is an awesome way for young, emerging leaders to get involved with movers and shakers in the community,” says organizer Briana Bateman. “The longer, dinner-style format allows participants to discuss more than the basics that might be shared at a traditional networking event. Everyone leaves with a greater depth of knowledge and deeper relationships.”
Tickets for the event are $25 for COR members and $35 for non-members.Tickets may be
