John Mobley Law Firm welcomes attorney David J. Miller
COLUMBIA, SC – John Mobley Law Firm announces the addition of attorney David J. Miller to the practice.
Miller practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation/personal injury, family court (divorce, custody and interstate custody) and criminal defense (federal and state). He is licensed to practice in all State courts, Federal District Court for the District of South Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Miller graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003. After 12 years as a law clerk and litigating attorney, he opened the David J. Miller Law Firm in 2015. The firm became Of Counsel to The John Mobley Law Firm in 2017.
When he is not working, Miller volunteers with service projects through his local church, Harvest Hope Food Bank and Transitions Homeless Shelter. He is completing his tenure serving as the 2018-20 Chair of the Ethics Advisory Committee for the South Carolina Bar Association, a committee on which he has served for several years. Miller also volunteers his service to investigate fee disputes and chair fee dispute panels for the Richland County Bar. He is a previous President of the Kershaw County Bar Association.
Miller enjoys exercise, reading, traveling and community involvement.
