The South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association’s (SCWCEA) Executive Director Recognized by South Carolina Society of Association Executives (SCSAE) For Outstanding Achievement and Leadership.
[Irmo, S.C., June 7, 2019] – The South Carolina Society of Association Executives (SCSAE) recognized Donna Croom as the Executive of the Year on June 3, 2019 during it’s 2019 Annual Conference on Hilton Head Island, SC. The highest honor for an association executive, this award is presented to those with outstanding accomplishments in their profession and throughout the community.Croom has been with the organization since 2006. She owns 360 Meetings & Events, LLC which was opened in 2003. Ms. Croom’s experiences include serving as the Business Manager and Corporate Secretary/Treasurer for Palmetto Economic Development, as Manager of Special Events for the SC Department of Commerce, and International Marketing Specialist for the SC Division of Tourism where she opened State offices in Frankfurt, Germany; London, England; Zurich, Switzerland; and Tokyo, Japan.
She is a graduate of Winthrop College and the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute. Ms. Croom is an active member of SCSAE serving on their Board of Directors, Tradeshow, Membership and Branding committees as well as a speaker at their monthly meetings. Active in the community, she has served as a board member for Riverbanks Zoo Society and was awarded The State’s Best Event Planner in 2014 and 2015.
