Dr. Dixon Brooks, Chief Instructional Officer for Lexington School District Two, has been awarded the Dr. Randy Wall Distinguished Service Award by the South Carolina Association for Middle Level Education (SCAMLE), in recognition of significant contributions to the work of middle level education. Dr. Brooks has been with Lexington Two since 1994, serving in a number of leadership positions, including principal at three schools, before moving into his current role. He believes that it takes a partnership between the community, schools, parents, and students to help all students learn the skills they will need to be productive citizens and life-long learners. Dr. Brooks is being recognized during SCAMLE’s annual convention in March.
