Dental Month at EdVenture features Teddy Bear Clinic and more...
Columbia, SC ( February 2, 2018) - EdVenture announced today its schedule of events and programs for the month of February for families to come out and enjoy. We will be celebrating Take heart and Smile as well as Black History Month. EdVenture kicks off the month with its Teddy Bear Clinic on February 3, 2018 with many other events and activities throughout the museum each weekend.

Teddy Bear Clinic - Saturday February, 3 2018
Enjoy a fun morning of learning with your favorite furry friend! Visit our Teddy Bear Wellness Stations and learn how to stay healthy by checking your teddy bear's pulse, listening to their heart beat, checking their vision and more! You can bring your own stuffed animal or purchase one at our store, EdCetera! We will also have a host of other activities going on such as our dental puppet show and health demos to promote healthy teeth.
The Bright Smile Bright Future Van - Saturday, February 10, 2018
We will feature The Bright Smiles Bright Futures Van which will be at EdVenture giving free dental screenings from 11am-3pm in honor of Take Heart and Smile Month. We will also honored to have The Columbia Junior League as our volunteer sponsor for the day. There will also be special appearances by the Tooth Fairy as well as other dental demonstrations.
EdLympics - Saturday, February 17, 2018
Calling all EdLympians! EdVenture will host it's version of the Winter Games in the spirit of the Olympics. Edlympics will have lots of fun activities to focus on our core values Service, Honesty, Innovation, and Joy. Come and prepare yourself for the games by traveling through different stations to train your entire body. If you complete them all, you might just go home with the gold! This year we are excited to have our event hosted by Fitness Guru James Patrick.
Black History Month Celebration - Sunday, February 25, 2018
Edventure celebrates Black History Month. Come out and celebrate Black History Month as we showcase Black Inventors and Inventions, African Dance by GyeNyame Dance company and a Food Tasting featuring African cuisine and soul food from local restaurants.
