Columbia, SC, March 14, 2019 - The Salvation Army of the Midlands has appointed Emily Bedenbaugh as Chairwoman of the Advisory Board. Emily was installed as an Advisory Board Member in 2012 and has been a tremendous asset to the team. "The Salvation Army is so blessed to have Emily serving as Chairwoman of the Advisory Board. She consistently exemplifies her giving spirit and will provide wonderful leadership in this role," said Major Henry Morris.
Emily is a well-respected leader in the Columbia area and her passion for helping those most in need doesn't go unnoticed. "I look forward to leading the board as we work alongside the Army to promote the mission of doing the most good in the Midlands, providing assistance to those who need it most and bettering the community for all," said Bedenbaugh.
Emily is the Alumni Affairs Director at Hammond School. Outside of her involvement with The Salvation Army, she also serves on the board of The Junior League of Columbia and Prisma Health Midlands Foundation.
The Salvation Army looks forward to working closely with Emily as she serves in this role. Together, we will strive to reach new heights in 2019.
