Celebrate Mother’s Day with the entire family. The Lourie Center and Gye Nyame Ensemble are hosting “For Mothers and Watoto: A Mother’s Day Dinner and African-Inspired Performance” on Sunday May 13, 4 - 6:30 pm. An elegant, yet family-friendly buffet dinner will be served, followed by African- Inspired Dancing, Drumming, Storytelling, A Cappella Singing, a Fashion Show, and will feature a Gye Nyame Youth Dance Ensemble Performance.
Doors open at 3 pm. Dinner will be served 4:15-5:15 pm. Performance begins at 5:15 pm. Catered by Michael Jones Catering.
Tickets are $30 per person, includes performance and buffet dinner, beverage and dessert. Advance purchase only. Tables may be reserved with a six ticket purchase.
