Columbia, SC – The Hope Shop is the newest addition to downtown Columbia’s retail landscape. The boutique, offering hand-selected items for both men and women, is opening on July 29th, 2023. “I am extremely excited that Oliver Gospel has birthed a new concept of hope and collaboration called The Hope Shop, a men's and women’s boutique with purpose,” says Executive Director, Travis McNeal.
The Hope Shop was founded with a mission to give each purchase a greater purpose: to serve those in need of food and shelter. As a social enterprise of Oliver Gospel Mission, the boutique aims to provide another way for the city to come together to help their hurting neighbors. This grand opening marks a significant milestone in the journey of Oliver Gospel and its commitment to engaging and transforming lives across the Midlands.
The grand opening ceremony promises to be an extraordinary event, featuring refreshments, giveaways, and special deals. Guests will have the opportunity to explore their carefully curated selection of vintage, modern, high-end clothing, jewelry, and accessories for both men and women. There is certainly something for everyone.

“We’ve already had SO many people join in the past 10 months, volunteering, donating and giving of their time and talents to create something very special that will generate needed funds for our programs,” says McNeal.
The grand opening of The Hope Shop will take place at 1111 Taylor Street on July 29th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Local influencers, community leaders, and fashion enthusiasts will come together to support this remarkable initiative, making it an event not to be missed.
