Halloween Hoopla is Back!

October 14, 2021 (Columbia, SC) Calling all ghouls and goblins! EdVenture is pleased to present Halloween Hoopla on Sunday, October 31st at our Columbia location (211 Gervais Street). Now in its 12th year, Halloween Hoopla will include trick-or-treating, spooky science activities, live performances, a real pumpkin patch, and more! Halloween Hoopla is generously sponsored by our friends at T-Mobile.

Tickets are $5 for adults and children under 12 are free. This year's event will be offered for two time blocks, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Advanced ticket sales are required and a limited number of tickets will be available for each play session to maintain social distancing throughout the museum.

“The goal of Halloween Hoopla is to provide a safe and educational environment for children and their families to celebrate," said Sydney Beckwith, Marketing Coordinator with EdVenture. By hosting our event in two-time blocks with a limited capacity, we encourage our guests to continue to practice social distancing, while still enjoying all of the fun and educational opportunities that the museum has to offer.”

Children and their caregivers are encouraged to dress in their Halloween best. CDC-approved face coverings are required for entry for children and adults over 3 years of age and must be worn for the entirety of their visit.
