COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA — Homeless No More, the Midlands’ leading nonprofit working to end family homelessness, welcomed a new Executive Committee and board member at their September board meeting.
Homeless No More’s new board chair is David Kirkpatrick, Managing Director of South State Bank Advisory. The Vice Chair is Jim Christopher, Red Fox Capital Partners. The Secretary is Kimberly Snipes, Diversity and Membership Manager at the South Carolina Bar. Joe Wilczewski, Executive Director of the Boyd Foundation, returns as Treasurer. Barrie Kirk, Provost of Midlands Technical College, will serve on Homeless No More’s executive committee as Immediate Past Chair.
“It is a privilege to step into this new role with Homeless No More,” said David Kirkpatrick, Board Chair. “Having served on the board for 5 years, I have witnessed how our ‘families first’ focus has led to a cohesive, future oriented approach that keeps families together while helping them achieve lasting independence. As Chair, I look forward to expanding the success of Homeless No More’s programming to eradicate family homelessness in the Midlands.”
Pamela Simmons-Beasley, Esq. was welcomed as a new board member. Pamela is a Chapter 13 Trustee and former Family Shelter board member. She has remained involved with the organization as a life skill facilitator and volunteer.
