LEXINGTON, SC – Saluda River Club, the visionary, master-planned community of homes, resort-style amenities and natural beauty along the Saluda River in Lexington, S.C., has received a “Best of the Best” Award for Best Social Club from ideal-LIVING Magazine. The 100 communities selected nationwide are featured in the magazine’s fourth annual “Best of the Best” issue and also listed at www.ideal-LIVING.com/bestofthebest.
Saluda River Club is a master-planned community under development by Andrew (Andy) White. Over the years, White and his team have continued to innovate, anticipating the changing demographics and desires of homebuyers, and providing floor plans, styles and features to meet those needs by designing various neighborhoods within the community. Saluda River Club is located in Lexington’s top-rated public school district, just minutes away from major business, medical, academic and entertainment centers in downtown Columbia, S.C. The award-winning community is known for its resort-style amenities, which include the Chickawa Outdoor Center, Village Clubhouse, outdoor playground, river access, two outdoor pools, fitness center, walking trail, dog park, community gardens, riverside observation deck, a village green, outdoor amphitheatre, recreation area and much more. www.saludariverclub.com
“Best of the Best” winners were selected following an extensive review of surveys collected at the 2019 ideal-Living Real Estate Show. Hundreds of communities were nominated, and an editorial committee chose the winners based on how closely their offerings matched the award requirements. There were nine categories of awards, including Best Social Club, for which Saluda River Club was chosen as a winner.
“I am very proud, but not surprised, that Saluda River Club has been honored with a “Best of the Best” award,” said West. “We are extremely proud of the community we have created, and of the people who call Saluda River Club home. We have created Saluda River Club for people of all ages and stages of life, who appreciate the community’s natural beauty, outdoor amenities, river frontage, prime location and variety of home choices.”
“The ‘Best of the Best’ awards honor those areas and communities that deserve special recognition for their outstanding qualities, facilities and programs,” said ideal-LIVING’s Editor and Associate Publisher Kelly Godbey. “We hope that this special feature in our Summer 2019 edition will serve our readers by focusing on the places that offer the lifestyle enhancements that are the most important to them.”
