The South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families is pleased to announce that Jerell Wesley has been promoted to Senior Program Manager for SC program operations.
Wesley joined the Center in November of 2022 as Program Manager, having previously worked at Midlands Fatherhood Coalition as an Intervention Specialist. Wesley has served in the non-profit community for more than 10 years in human services and case management. Wesley is also a Chaplain in the SC Army National Guard. Wesley invests his personal time serving the homeless populations in Kershaw and Sumter counties.
He received his M.Div. and M.A. in counseling from Columbia International University. Wesley has worked for various organizations promoting and advocating for self-sufficiency, family reunification, bringing resources to poverty communities, and advocating mental health awareness.
The mission of the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families is simple: To provide the means for fathers to become great dads. We bring attention to problems, policy challenges, and best practices, then tackle issues that unintentionally keep fathers and children apart. Our work is motivated by families and shaped by evidence. To learn more about our work, please visit our website at www.scfathersandfamilies.com.
