Columbia, SC—Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery, PA is pleased to announce that Dr. Jeremy Saller joined the practice as of September 1, 2019.
Dr. Saller joins Midlands after five years at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia where he was an attending surgeon. Dr. Saller recently completed his second fellowship in foot and ankle at The Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Falls Church, Virginia.
His first fellowship was in pediatric orthopaedics, which he completed at A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. He completed his residency at the Texas Tech Health Science Center, where he also attended medical school, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Saller is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Saller specializes in foot and ankle as well as pediatric orthopaedics. He initially pursued pediatric orthopaedics because of the opportunity to treat a variety of different musculoskeletal conditions. However, during his time as a pediatric surgeon, he developed an interest in foot and ankle orthopaedics. “I decided to pursue additional training to enhance my surgical and non-surgical knowledge in adult and adolescent foot and ankle deformity and other musculoskeletal conditions. I am excited about the opportunity to treat foot and ankle problems in people of all ages, from infancy to old age.”
Dr. Saller joins Dr. William James and physician assistant Lauren Mothena to complete the practice’s highly skilled foot and ankle team. He is thrilled to join Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery and call Columbia home. “Columbia is a charming city that has history and culture in abundance. My wife and I both are excited about making Columbia our new home and we are excited to become part of the Midlands family!”
Dr. Saller is now seeing patients at all locations.
