Leeco Steel, one of the largest suppliers of carbon, HSLA and alloy steel plate in North America, announces it will soon open its ninth U.S. distribution warehouse outside of Atlanta, Georgia. The new location will allow Leeco Steel – an O’Neal Industries affiliate company – to better serve customers in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.
“We are excited to enter into the Atlanta market and better serve our customers in and around Georgia,” said Denton Nordhues, President and CEO of Leeco Steel. “This location perfectly complements our Chattanooga sales office and distribution center and will enable that team to deliver orders faster with greater efficiencies to customers in the southeast.”
The 49,000 square foot space is located northeast of Atlanta in Pendergrass, GA and will feature two 40-ton cranes and two drive-through bays.
The distribution center is scheduled to be fully operational in May 2019. Once open, Leeco Steel will have nine U.S.-based distribution centers and 11 distribution centers throughout North America.
