Local Resident Adam Piper Named to Future 40

Adam Piper has been named to Maverick PAC’s Future 40 Class of 2019. Each year, Maverick PAC, the premier national donor network of conservative young professionals, recognizes leaders under 40 from across the country that embody the next generation of leadership in the public and private sector.

Adam Piper is Executive Director of the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA), where he oversees the organization's efforts to elect and reflect Republican attorneys general across the nation. Piper previously served as RAGA’s Policy Director and as President/Executive Director of its sister organization, the Rule of Law Defense Fund. From January 2011 until January 2017, Piper served in various executive leadership roles in the Office of South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, including Executive Director, Executive Chief of Staff, and Senior Policy Advisor. Prior to joining the Attorney General's Office, Piper successfully managed and worked on campaigns at all levels, including two presidential campaigns. Piper graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He has served as President of the University of South Carolina's Young Alumni Council and on its alumni Board of Governors. Piper and his wife, Meredith Brooks Custer of Wilmington, N.C., reside in Raleigh, N.C. with their daughter, Paige.
