Columbia, SC — CARF International has announced that LRADAC, the Lexington/Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council, has been accredited for a period of three years for its full offering of inpatient and outpatient substance misuse treatment programs including detoxification and prevention services. In addition, LRADAC also received another “no recommendations” for improvement notation— an accomplishment achieved by only 3 percent of CARF surveys. The latest accreditation is the second consecutive three-year accreditation with no recommendations that the international accrediting body, CARF, has given to LRADAC in the last six years.
“An organization receiving a three-year accreditation puts itself through a rigorous peer-review process, demonstrating to a team of surveyors a commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality,” said Gayle Aycock, President and CEO of LRADAC. “This accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization like ours and this honor speaks to the quality of LRADAC’s programs and services and our staff’s unwavering commitment to our patients and the communities we serve.”
