LS3P Wins Columbia Chamber’s Golden Nail Award

Columbia, SC – The Cambria Hotel, located in the heart of Columbia’s Vista district, has been awarded the Golden Nail Award by the Columbia Chamber as part of their 2023 Columbia Impact Awards. The Golden Nail is awarded to businesses for exemplary contributions to the physical character of the greater Midlands region by means of cosmetic, commercial or re-purposing of a blighted space.

LS3P was as the architect for this design-build project with McCrory Construction and transformed a former surface parking lot into an upscale hotel that enhanced the Vista area and spurred economic development. “It was an honor for our team to work with Choice Hotels and their CM, HighSide Development, on this significant new project in the Vista,” according to Mary Beth Sims Branham, AIA, LS3P’s Columbia Office Leader.
