Mery’s Kitchen European Bakery and Florist Coming to Sola Station at Canalside.

There soon will be baked goods, floral arrangements, and handcrafted gourmet chocolate coming to Sola Station in the CanalSide development in Columbia.
Owner Mery Gillard, said that her goal is to highlight food from a different country each month at the CanalSide location.

Mery’s Kitchen LLC has been operating as a catering business, specializing in cakes, breads, pastries, gourmet desserts, and even beautiful floral arrangements. Gillard said she is excited about starting a brick-and-mortar version of the business and hopes to be open in June.

This comes right after the recent announcement that Bierkeller, a German style beer garden has signed a lease to operate at the development. Earlier this year Midtown Market, a Southern Style Bodega opened up in Sola Station at Canalside as well.

John Metts and Michael Edwards with Wilson Kibler represented the landlord in this transaction and Liz Deese with Coldwell Banker Commercial represented Mrs. Gillard.
