Montgomery Construction new office
LEXINGTON, SC, June 10, 2020- Montgomery Construction, a local commercial construction company, is excited to be building their brand-new office off of Augusta Hwy in Lexington. As Montgomery Construction continues to grow, the new office will be beneficiary in accommodating their expanding staff. They plan on demolishing or moving their current office and using that land for the new parking for the building. With the building of their new office, Montgomery Construction is hopeful that it will help to bring new projects and new businesses to the Lexington area.
Their new office will consist of 5,700 square feet of commercial office building space that includes a two-story office and a four-bay warehouse. The facility will have a modern yet rustic feel from the inside out. Upon entering the building, you will find an open concept with an inviting clear story reception and public area with large storefront windows providing an abundance of natural lighting. There will be private offices, a large conference room, copy/ work area and restrooms on the first floor. A polished concrete floor, stainless steel cable railing system and decorative linear lighting have been designed to continue the modern aesthetic throughout the building.
The second floor includes additional offices, a break room, and a large open gathering area which has been designed to accommodate excess office spaces for the foreseen future. Fiber cement panels and field stone will set off the exterior architecture, while a large open porch for gathering is included on the second floor with custom railings, natural wood columns and ceiling, a bar-top for eating meals outside, and composite decking on the floor. The large warehouse space will incorporate a fitness area for the employees that overlooks the scenic pond on the property, and there will be three other bay storage areas for equipment storage.
Montgomery Construction is expecting to have the building completed in the Fall of 2020.
